A little philosophy
I'm happiest when a hard problem finally clicks, and the interface makes it look obvious in hindsight.
Ten years in, I've led design across travel, real estate, gaming, and Web3/fintech.
I care about craft, but I care more about whether the thing actually works for the person on the other side of the glass.
I mentor loudly, prototype constantly, and believe a good design critique is the most underrated feature in any team.
Bad UI bothers me personally
I can't scroll past a clunky flow without mentally redesigning it. It's not always useful, but it's never off.
I remember the users, not just the metrics
Numbers tell me something moved. I still want to know who moved, and why it mattered to them.
Feedback is a gift I ask for often
I'd rather hear "this doesn't work" on day two than day twenty. I check in early and often, on purpose.
